This article highlights the significance of Vitamin D deficiency as it relates to dysbiosis of gut microbiota and gut permeability, leading to metabolic disorders, secondary to inflammation. An increasing number of individuals around the world suffer with Vitamin D deficiency. At the same time, we are seeing a rise in metabolic disorders such as obesity, insulin resistance and fatty liver disease.
It is important to note that further research on Vitamin K2 in the absorption of Vitamin D may play an important role in subsequent research.
